Submit your Proposal for the 2026 INTESOL Conference
Deadline: August 31, 2026, 11:59pmCT
Submit a Proposal
Whether you’re a seasoned presenter or trying it for the first time, we encourage you to submit a proposal. Not sure where to start? Consider partnering with colleagues—co-presenting is a great way to collaborate, divide the work, and make the experience more enjoyable (and less intimidating!).
Session Types
We offer a variety of session formats—including some exciting options that are especially well-suited for new presenters:
Presentation (45 minutes)
Share insights on teaching practices, assessment, research, advocacy, or other timely TESOL topics.
Roundtable Discussion (45 minutes) (Great for first-time presenters!)
Facilitate an interactive conversation on a “hot topic” in TESOL. This format encourages collaboration and idea-sharing among participants.
Teaching Tip (45 minutes) - New for this year!
Showcase a successful lesson, unit, or strategy you’ve used with language learners. What’s working in your classroom? Share it!
Workshop (45 or 90 minutes)
Lead a hands-on professional development session where participants actively engage in solving a problem or developing new teaching or research techniques.
Panel (45 or 90 minutes)
Join with one or more colleagues for a moderated discussion, including audience questions and interaction.
New to Presenting?
We especially encourage first-time presenters to consider hosting a Roundtable Discussion or sharing a Teaching Tip—both are engaging, practical, and highly valued by attendees.
We look forward to learning from you and hope to see you this November!
